Job Title: Unix System Administrator (AIX)
Work Shift: 1st shift
Weekend Coverage: Weekend coverage is required.
On Call: Needs to be on-call (rotation shared in team of five)
Years Experience: 5+
Travel Required: Travel is required. (within 100 miles of client location) Likely less than 25%.
Work Location: Hammond, IN

Provide new installation of server infrastructure, server migrations, or server consolidation activities through project work. Need to have some project management experience, architectural skills, and excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple tasks effectively. - Need AIX, VIO, HACMP expertise, strong system administration skills, and prior knowledge of server refresh/migrations. Also need strong security compliance knowledge; automation/scripting knowledge would be very useful here.
